Jon Lapeyra Martin (Eibar, 1992). Doctor in oceanography, deep freediver, diving instructor and underwater photographer.

None in my family and friends was ever related to the marine environment, and even so, without really knowing why, as a teenager, I felt an impulse to dive and explore the underwater world. My curiosity and passion later, led me to study oceanography and become interested in marine science. Knowing and transmiting my passion for the sea are my element. Therefore, whether competing in apnea, photographing marine fauna and flora or participating in scientific projects, I try to transmit my deepest respect and love for aquatic ecosystems.
